1. At a glance
FileKitPro is an iPhone, iPad, and Mac app designed for local file processing. The files you open, convert, and edit are processed on your device, not uploaded to FileKitPro servers for conversion. The App does not require an account, display targeted advertising, or include analytics or advertising-tracking SDKs.
The App, Apple services used for purchases and platform functionality, and the website you are viewing have different data practices. We describe those separately below.
2. Files and data on your device
When you choose a file, the App may access its contents and relevant metadata, create temporary working files, produce a converted or edited output, or store preferences necessary for the tool to work. PDF operations, document conversion, media processing, OCR, and applicable speech transcription are performed locally using the supported on-device engines and libraries.
FileKitPro does not operate a conversion-upload service and does not collect the content of your documents, images, video, or audio for processing. Outputs you explicitly save remain in the destination you choose. Temporary working files and app-local preferences may remain until cleared by the App or operating system; uninstalling the App generally removes its sandboxed data, but not copies you exported to other locations.
3. Device permissions and file access
The App may use system-provided document pickers, share sheets, storage access, microphone or recording functions, and other permission-based features when you request the relevant action. System permissions and file access can be reviewed in your device settings. Access to a file through a picker does not mean we receive or upload it.
4. Network use and Apple services
Core file conversions do not require uploading your files to a FileKitPro conversion server. The App may communicate with Apple when it requests in-app purchase product information, initiates or restores a purchase, checks entitlements, or opens App Store subscription management. It may also open external websites when you choose a link. Apple and the destination service process information under their own privacy policies.
Some optional workflows may use installed third-party tools or Apple operating-system services. Their availability and treatment of information depend on the specific feature and your system configuration; FileKitPro does not turn such use into a general server-side file processing service.
5. Purchases
Apple processes FileKitPro+ subscriptions and lifetime purchases through StoreKit. We do not receive your credit-card information from those transactions. The App receives product, entitlement, and transaction status information needed to activate or restore your purchased features. Apple's privacy policy covers billing and payment information processed by Apple.
6. Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics
The App does not include third-party analytics or advertising-tracking SDKs. We do not sell App user data for advertising. Your Apple device may separately offer optional app analytics or crash reporting governed by your system settings and Apple’s services. If you email us a diagnostic report or screenshots, information you choose to send may be included.
7. This website
Visiting lycheehu.com is different from using FileKitPro locally. Like other hosted websites, its hosting and network infrastructure may record limited technical access data, such as IP address, requested page, timestamp, and browser or device information, for reliability, security, and troubleshooting. This website's basic product pages do not require a FileKitPro account or upload your documents for conversion. Third-party font delivery, if enabled in your browser, may involve requests to the font provider.
8. Support communication
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever message, attachments, or diagnostic details you choose to provide. We use that information to reply and troubleshoot, and retain correspondence as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal obligations. Do not email passwords or confidential file contents unless genuinely necessary.
9. Your choices and retention
You choose which files to import, save, and share. Remove outputs and working copies using your device and file-management controls. Apple manages subscription and payment records under its own policies. You may ask us about support correspondence associated with your email address or request deletion where applicable, subject to necessary legal or security retention.
10. Security, children, and international use
The App relies on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS sandboxing and operating-system controls, but no software or transmission can be guaranteed perfectly secure. FileKitPro is a general-purpose utility, not a service designed to collect children's personal information. Website and support infrastructure may be located in regions different from your own; applicable privacy laws and rights remain in effect.
11. Policy updates
We may update this policy as features, dependencies, or our website change. The publication date on this page will be revised accordingly. Material changes will receive additional notice when required by law.
